PurePac’s First Lady (driver)

Don’t worry, we’re not talking about the White House!

Instead, we’re welcoming PurePac’s first lady driver, Sarah Christian, who’s just completed her second week at PurePac. Sarah previously worked for a large food logistics company, then had a break from LGV driving. She was tempted back into a driving career when she saw that PurePac offered social working hours that fitted around her family lifestyle, rather than working long shifts, late nights or weekends.

We already know Sarah is going to be a great asset to the PurePac team, she is always smiling, is eager to get things done and get them done right. We’ve all been impressed with her positive approach to work and of course her great driving skills. We wish Sarah the very best in her new role and we hope she is part of the PurePac team for many years to come.

Before the days of PurePac the business (then known as GR & J Atkinson and Atkinson Containers) also had a female driver. Judith Atkinson was an LGV driver back in the 1970s, she was sadly taken from us too early. But I’m sure that she would have loved to see another lady LGV driver take the wheel.

Tell me about any new recruits in your business, I’d love to hear about them.
