A PurePac customer sent us an unexpected gift to say thank you for arranging a last minute, critical jerrycan order for them.
We had to juggle our stocks, pending orders and speak to other customers to help us fulfil the request quickly. It wasn’t a straightforward delivery. However, it’s what we do every day of the week and even more so now than ever before.
PurePac has been supporting manufacturers with their packaging requirements for decades. As a stockist we are constantly monitoring stock and order levels, forecasting for future requirements. That said, no one could have predicted COVID-19 and the impact it would have on the packaging and manufacturing sectors.
What has struck me most over the last few extremely challenging weeks, is how everyone we are working with, whether customers or suppliers, are all being very understanding and working through this the best they can.
At PurePac we are even working closely with some our our key competitors, to help each other and also help the cause. I really feel there is a sense of togetherness, information sharing, honestly and realism.
So back to the thank you gift I received from one of our customers. The whole team felt touched by such a lovely thank you gesture. As they are champagne truffles, I have said we will all share them once we get back from ‘home working’ – hopefully a celebratory treat!!
