This year’s Christmas celebrations were another activity-packed affair, starting with strikes, spares and plenty of competitive spirit at Tenpin Bowling. 🎳
Martel stole the show with an incredible score of 204 points. Check out the evidence in the photo – seriously impressive and one to beat next year.
We also witnessed a never-seen-before bowling technique from Susie. The lane proved a little too slippery and resulted in Susie perfecting the art of bowling… from the floor. A moment captured for PurePac history and guaranteed to raise a smile every time the photo reappears.
Next up were a few lively games of Killer on the pool table, with Lauren and Gary each claiming a well-earned win.
Then came my personal favourite, air hockey, where I’m pleased to report a three-game winning streak in a best-of-three series (some achievements deserve mentioning, not that I’m one to brag 😄).
After working up a healthy appetite, we headed over to The Plough at Everdon — a real hidden gem. Set in a beautiful traditional stone-built village pub, it had everything you’d want: character, warmth, and a fantastic atmosphere. The food was exceptional, though perhaps we should have expected that given it came highly recommended by Susie and proudly holds a rosette. ⭐
A huge thank you to our brilliant PurePac team for another year of hard work, dedication, and support. Days like this are a great reminder of what a strong team we have and how important it is to take time to enjoy it together. At this busy time of year, not all our team members were able to make the party, but we raised a little glass to them, too.
