Kirsty and I are on a roll with our trips out of the office and enjoyed a visit to CHEMUK at the NEC Birmingham last week.
We saw some familiar faces, both customers and suppliers, plus we bumped into the buyer and sales team from two of our key accounts. It's great to have impromptu catch-ups in a relaxed environment. We also met some new contacts including AutoPack, Blended Products and Carberry Plastics.
From our recent post about the Making Pharmaceuticals exhibition, you’ll know we love an interactive stand and I spotted one as soon as we arrived at CHEMUK. Big Red Construction is a leading contractor in the food, pharmaceutical and petrochemical (FPHP) industries; and to my delight, they had a mini digger on display.
Unsure whether the bright yellow Volvo digger was just for show purposes, I asked if I could have a go... As you can see, it's unlikely I'll be getting a job in the construction industry anytime soon, so I'll be sticking with the day job for now.
My lack of skills gave everyone a good laugh though, including myself. 😃
Thank you to the Big Red Construction team for being great hosts.
