A trip to Making Pharmaceuticals
Last week, Kirsty and I met up with Stephen Fleming from CurTec International at the Making Pharmaceuticals 2023 exhibition at Coventry Building Society Arena.
As we visited the stands, everyone commented that the first day was busier, and the second day (when we visited) seemed quieter. We took this as a positive as everyone had plenty of time to talk to us!
HARKE Pharma, Veolia Water Technologies and University College London (UCL) were among those in attendance. We particularly enjoyed visiting EcoLab’s impressive stand and chatted at length with Ece, who was a fantastic host. Ecolab's stand featured an interactive board game demonstrating the importance of keeping infections and pests away! What a fantastic idea to engage visitors, it certainly worked on us. Stephen and I scored 7 points each, with Kirsty just pipping us to the post with 8 points.
Since our visit, I’ve had three conversations with new contacts. Although it doesn’t sound like a big amount, someone clever once said, "Great oaks from little acorns grow". Who knows what might occur from our trip. Plus, a day out of the office to understand new industry trends and tell people about PurePac is never time wasted.
