I'm a creative type (Pisces 😉) but I also love developing new processes and putting them into action. Our latest process is a game-changer – paperless delivery notes. This development in iBOS, our bespoke Integrated Business Operating System, reflects our commitment to sustainability and delivers measurable cost savings and operational benefits.
Switching to paperless delivery notes means we're saving on printing costs, reducing paper consumption and minimising filing time and storage space. It’s a major leap towards greener operations and helps streamline processes for our internal teams.
While this step is a huge win for our efficiency, we also want to ensure our customers remain central to the solution. Talking with our customers revealed that many still prefer to receive a physical delivery note when their goods arrive. So, we haven’t completely phased out paper delivery notes, for now we’ve replaced PurePac’s paper copy with an electronic one.
Customer satisfaction will always be the top priority at PurePac, and with a 50% reduction in paper printing, it's a win-win. We’ll also keep exploring other ways we can go paperless.
iBOS keeps evolving. But what's next? Well, I’ve got intelligent communications on my hit list. More on that another time.
