UN Approved Stainless Steel IBCs

PurePac’s range of Stainless Steel IBCs can be ordered with full UN approval, this is particularly important if you are transporting hazardous goods on the UK road networks.

UN Approval of Stainless Steel IBCs lasts for the lifetime of the IBCs and Stainless Steel IBCs last a lifetime.  The only point to remember is ensuring your Stainless Steel IBCs are checked by a certified UN Approval company to confirm the IBCs continue to adhere to UN Standards.

If you are looking to use your IBCs multiple times to ship between your manufacturing plant, your customers and back to your manufacturing plant, plastic and metal IBCs will only have a very short lifespan, maybe 3-4 trips per IBC before they have to be taken out of circulation.

The plastic and metal IBCs can easily become damaged with knocks and bumps during the loading, transportation and unloading processes, whereas Stainless Steel IBCs are extremely robust and cannot be damaged in the same way as plastic containers.

If you have any questions about UN Approval or Stainless Steel IBCs please call PurePac on 01327 310 464.
