It’s hard to believe Ben has already been with PurePac for over a month.
After starting with us on a temporary basis, Ben secured our new Business Operations Co-ordinator role. It’s been a busy first month, and it’s great to see him settle into the office and get stuck into such a varied role.
The first month has involved learning new systems and processes and getting involved across different areas of the business. Most importantly, Ben is starting to take ownership of his own day-to-day responsibilities.
Ben joined us with a degree in banking and finance, and he’s already been putting those skills to good use. He’s been looking at our Amazon sales and costings and identifying opportunities to improve our approach.
When we asked Ben how he’d found his first month, he said:
"My first month at PurePac has been really enjoyable. I’ve felt very welcomed by the whole team and have already had the opportunity to take responsibility for daily tasks, learn new systems and gain experience across the business."
That’s exactly what we hoped for when we created the role – someone keen to learn, asks questions, gets involved and wants to understand how the different parts of PurePac work together.
There’s plenty more for Ben to learn and lots more responsibility ahead, but he’s made an excellent start.
