You may (or may not) have noticed that I haven’t written any posts recently. Since losing my mum, I lost my creative flow and decided to take a break.
I'm still not in the right frame of mind, as I am preparing for my mum’s inquest — something I have no experience with. But I'm doing my best to represent my mum with thorough research and fact-finding.
Now, I'm easing myself back into writing my weekly blog. I feel a bit like the weather right now — grey one minute and partially sunny the next!
However, seeing all the flowers and plants blooming gives me a small lift. Especially when I see a CurTec drum made from recycled plastics being used as a plant pot, it puts a smile on my face. Not just because I love being a Packaging Geek, but also because I want to keep the recycling message alive.
Summer also reminds me of my mum. She loved spending time in her garden and planting flowers.
So, just like the weather, I hope my skies become a little sunnier as the weeks pass.
Wishing my colleagues and friends a happy summer,
Sylvia.
