Earlier this year, packaging manufacturer CurTec built and opened a new production facility in Westminster South Carolina. Now fully FSSC 22000 (Food Safety System Certification) and GMP (Good Manufacturing Practice) certified, the new plant will produce bulk packaging for the pharmaceutical, speciality chemicals and food ingredients industry.
CurTec previously serviced their North American market from The Netherlands. However, the new 33,000 sq ft facility will strengthen CurTec’s international market coverage, increase customer service level and reduce its corporate carbon footprint.
CurTec’s state-of-the-art manufacturing facility now also boasts its own drop testing equipment to carry out in-house UN tests. This makes the process of sourcing UN approvals smoother and faster.
PurePac is very much looking forward to watching and supporting the development of the CurTec product range in the USA. Although PurePac is based in the UK, several of our larger customers have sites in the States, meaning we can more easily offer packaging solutions across both geographic locations, providing consistent and efficient products and services.
