Steve, our Customer Relationship Manager and I had a six-month catch-up to discuss how he's finding his time at PurePac. I thought, 'It feels like Steve has always been at PurePac!' This is a testament to how well he’s settled in.

Here's what Steve has to say:

"It’s been a whirlwind 6 months, learning new systems, new product groups and getting to know our customers, but it’s been nice that I already knew my new colleagues.

One of the things I notice is that every day is different and there’s always something to get your teeth into – a nice variety.  Being in frequent contact with our clients and helping them with their packaging supply chains is exactly what a Customer Relationship Manager role is about – one I'm really enjoying."

From my and PurePac’s point of view, we're delighted with Steve’s progress. He is a natural when it comes to customer relationship management, providing our existing customer base with unlimited product and service support, as well as dealing promptly with any queries. 

Steve’s enthusiasm and friendly approach fits our company's ethos of providing first-class customer service. I'm not one for a hard-nosed sales strategy. I prefer to build the PurePac business on a solid, 'slowly but surely' approach. I believe that people buy from people, relationships are key. This approach means we also focus on offering excellent post-sales customer support.
