(Plus, some bonus Thursday trivia)
Last week I was considering whether to add branding to our new cab or keep it plain white. Overall, the feedback indicated that a branded cab is the way forward.
However, I've been pondering this question since my last post, and I've been spotting more branded articulated tractor units. Isn’t it funny that when you're thinking about something, you become more conscious of the subject and your awareness levels increase? This phenomenon has a name, frequency illusion, also known as the Baader–Meinhof. It's a cognitive bias where after noticing something for the first time, there is a tendency to notice it more often.
So today, when our latest Mauser MDL Rebottled IBC delivery arrived, I (of course) was studying the branding on their cab, the positioning and size, then thinking how that would work for our logo. I know, it sounds like plagiarism, or if you're feeling generous - inspiration!
If tractor units aren't your thing, I hope you enjoyed the Thursday trivia.
