It’s typical, you wait at a bus stop for ages and then three buses come along at once. Well in our case we’ve been waiting for over a year for our two new trucks and one new forklift truck (FLT) to arrive, and within just three weeks we’ve taken delivery of all three!
Last week, our current FLTs Forky and Spike welcomed a baby brother into their brood, when we took delivery of our new Linde FLT. The new addition will help to manage the used IBC process across the storage yard and the reconditioning warehouse; assisting our eldest FLT called Yellow, who is getting quite ‘long in the tooth/fork’ now.
I’d like to thank Steven Hadden at Linde Material Handling UK, for his help with our purchase, he has provided great customer service during a difficult time in the marketplace. Sadly, likened to the arrival of human babies, the delivery of our latest FLT baby didn’t quite go to plan, he might need a small operation to fix his aliment as his controls aren’t quite the ones that were spec’d. However, Dr Linde is on the case and hopefully, baby FLT will be better soon.
