(Don’t worry, this isn’t an early remake of a popular Christmas carol.)

Instead, this view got me thinking about the surprisingly tall world of packaging.

They’re all sitting on a pallet but look completely different in height. Add an FLT next to them, and you suddenly realise how much packaging we’re moving!

We’re preparing this little lot for shipping on the Pallet Network, and it made me smile.

Although I did have a slight panic when I spotted the big gap in our IBC stack on the left.

“Where have all our IBCs gone?!”

A quick check and, thankfully, there’s no great mystery. We’ve had a good run on our Schutz Foodgrade IBCs over the last couple of days, and we’re just waiting for replenishment stock to arrive. Phew!

It’s amazing how something as simple as stacking heights can affect space, stock handling and how efficiently you get it out the door.

Plus, of course, it’s always nice when stock disappears because customers are buying it!
