With over 20 name suggestions to choose from, we were really spoilt for choice. So many great ideas too, like Pacman and Robin – I loved the play on Pacman…packaging, packing things away and Robin there to assist….
Another favourite was, Liftmeup Larry and Hoistup Harry, thank you Eva at CurTec for this great suggestion. These names show the FLTs do exactly what it says on the tin!!!
Then we had ToMe and ToYou which I really liked, giving the impression the FLTs were working closely together, which of course they are.
Onto our two favourites. In runner’s up place was Schutz and Mauser, as suggested by Robin at Mauser. This was always going to be a strong contender as IBCs play a huge part in the PurePac business. However, we thought this choice of names was maybe a tiny bit too predictable on our behalf.
So the winning names are Forky and Spike, as suggested by a previous management colleague of mine, Phil Campbell at Acentic.
We chose these names as they sounded like they would be good fun, with a bit of character and of course they totally reflect their looks and features.
