It’s been an interesting week, so I thought I’d share a funny story with you. We’re normally talking about the BOOM in IBC or Drum sales, but yesterday there was a real possibility of a proper boom near PurePac’s warehouse.
One of our neighbours brought a large heavy object into their warehouse, which they had found in a very old shed. Thinking nothing of it, they were simply going to use it as a weight.
However, one of their staff pointed out, there might …be more to the object than meets the eye.
They swiftly posted on social media and within seconds, floods of responses were coming in stating the object in question was a WWII bomb!!
A prompt call to the police, resulted in the entire section of our industrial estate being cordoned off and the arrival of the bomb squad to take the WWII bomb safely away.
Today we are business as usual and back to BOOMING IBC and Drum sales!
