Proud to announce our first contract signing of 2020 – oooh I had to get another p word into the sentence!
We have been working on this opportunity for the last couple of months and last week we received the green light – what a great way to start 2020, onwards and upwards. Adding another pharmaceutical manufacturer to our customer portfolio really is fantastic news, as one of PurePac’s key targets for 2020 is to increase our presence in this sector further.
Our USPs that led to PurePac winning this contract were simple:
- Customer Service – the ability to offer on demand deliveries
- Stockholding – providing our customer with guaranteed stock, ring-fenced solely for our customer to call off. All offered at no extra cost
- Mix Load Orders – giving our customer the option to purchase multi-line products, all from one supplier
- Marrying up Deliveries with Collections – offering a collection service for their empty packaging at the same time as delivering new packaging
PurePac will be supplying a large number of CurTec product lines, together with kegs, drums, IBCs and smaller packaging items.
By moving to PurePac, our new customer has streamlined their packaging supply chain from five suppliers to just one supplier. This will greatly simplify their ordering process, plus they will receive more regular deliveries combined with collections. This means they can free up more space in their own warehouses, which can now be dedicated to their own manufacturing operations rather than packaging gathering dust.
