Schutz continues to lead the way with their product development, innovation and standardisation. The latest project will see the further streamlining of their IBC models, with the goal of reducing their product variants and simplifying the product range for their customers.
From 1st October all integrated butterfly valve housings will be standardised to black, the butterfly valves will no longer be manufactured in natural. The conversion to black valve housings will also affect remaining screwable butterfly valves, e.g. for IBCs with EVOH permeation barrier.
The black masterbatch complies with all applicable European and US – American food regulations. In addition to that, black valve housings are superior in terms of light protection for sensitive filling goods.
